Senior editorial members review and update categories annually to properly reflect changes in industry best practices, priorities and trends. We set requirements for detailed data, metrics and examples to help ensure that the nominees selected are the very best the industry has to offer.
2. Ensuring A Diverse Slate of Entrants
PropertyCasualty360 works to ensure that its recognitions honor the absolute best that the industry has to offer, and the only way to do that is to ensure that we receive an array of relevant nominations that represent diverse backgrounds, geographies and organization types. We leverage the PropertyCasualty360 community in an effort to assure that a broad swath of the industry is aware of and participates in these recognitions.
3. Finalist Selection
In correspondence with the award's criteria, an independent panel of industry experts–possessing decades of market knowledge and expertise–utilize a scoring rubric and review all submissions before presenting a shortlist of finalists to our seasoned editors.
Our esteemed advisory board members are extremely knowledgeable within the field, and they in no way directly compete with the work that is being judged. We require all judges to announce any conflicts and exclude themselves from categories where they feel bias may occur.
4. Winner Selection
PropertyCasualty360’a senior editors meticulously review all finalist submissions without bias to select the industry’s most influential professionals and organizations as the 2026 Insurance Luminaries winners.
5. Recognition
Once the 2026 Insurance Luminaries finalists have been notified of their selection, they will be revealed on PropertyCasualty360.com in mid-March. The 2026 winners will be announced and honored at the inaugural PropertyCasualty360 Insurance Luminaries Awards dinner/gala in June 2026 (details to follow). The winners will also be profiled on PropertyCasualty360.com in June, and will receive additional recognition via PropertyCasualty360’s social channels and email newsletters.
