Dana is Coaction Specialty’s Senior Vice President of Claims overseeing multiple claims handling and operational teams responsible for Litigation Management, Vendor Management, Subrogation, SIU, Claims Quality, Claims Operations, Claims Technology Systems, Workers Compensation, Legacy Asbestos, Environmental and Mass Torts, and London Syndicate run-off. She has over 25 years of insurance experience and prior to joining Coaction in 2020, Dana spent 16 years with Markel holding positions of increasing responsibility in Claims and corporate project management, including international assignments in England and Canada. Prior to that, Dana worked in Claims roles for Crum & Forster and Amica Mutual. She has a B.A. in Political Science from The College of New Jersey and is a Certified Litigation Management Professional.

Dana is passionate about leadership, mentoring, sponsorship, and ‘extending the ladder down’ for the next level of leaders. She is often mentoring more than one person at a time, through formal programs and relaxed interactions.
