Speaker Bio
Frank S. Goldstein is a nationally renowned fraud attorney. Frank and Goldstein Law Group have recovered tens of millions of dollars back for defrauded insurers, obtained claim walkways in the tens of millions of dollars, and have obtained many agreements from insurance fraud crime rings and medical clinics, wherein they agreed to never bill Frank’s clients again.

In 2019, alone, Frank represented Allstate Insurance Company and filed the first case of its kind, anywhere in the country, against a major bank, for aiding and abetting an insurance fraud crime ring. Not only did Frank and his team win every major hearing, where the bank sought to dismiss the case, Frank obtained the largest fraud related settlement in Allstate Insurance Company’s history.

Frank does not “dabble” in insurance fraud, he lives, breathes and loves it. Frank has filed dozens of civil recovery actions on behalf of major insurers, including cases involving causes of action for Common Law Fraud, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices, Fraudulent Misrepresentation, Unjust Enrichment and Declaratory Relief, Although Frank has filed all types of different lawsuits against crime rings who have defrauded insurers, more specifically Frank and Goldstein Law Group have sued clinics and individuals who have: (a) organized and participated in staged automobile accidents; (b) billed for services not rendered and/or falsified medical records and bills; (c) bribed and kicked back monies to “patients” and runners, to participate in staged accidents and sign bundles of blank, bogus treatment notes, etc.; (d) owned clinics with no medical directors or medical directors who never intended to, nor complied with their statutory and regulatory mandated duties; (e) engaged in upcoding and unbundling.

Not only does Frank file civil recovery actions, he is in the trenches, routinely taking Examinations Under Oath of insureds and sworn statements of witnesses and informants, and Frank assists insurers every day in building fraud cases, from the ground up, against those who defraud the insurers.

Frank has been asked to and continues to be a consultant for many insurers who want to learn how to fight fraud; build solid fraud investigations, go after fraudsters, but do so while avoiding the traps often laid by deceptive and greedy attorneys and clinics.

Frank has been a 3-time finalist for Insurance Attorney of the Year at the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (“FIFEC”) conference, was the 2013 Insurance Attorney of the Year and has been nominated again in 2020, for the fourth time.

Frank is also a dynamic, sought-after speaker at local and national conferences, including having been a featured presenter at FIFEC, from 2001-2020. Frank has also presented at local and national International Association of Special Investigative Units (“IASIU”) conferences from 2001-2020; and has also been asked to speak on any number of fraud related issues at local and national conferences put on by Allstate, GEICO, Ocean Harbor, Farmers, National General, Direct General, Metlife, State Farm, Gainsco, Progressive, etc..Frank has also been a featured speaker at Medical Claims Defense Network fraud related conferences, from 2001-2020.
