Tammy Chang is a Senior Claims Specialist for AXA XL’s Cyber & Technology claims group. Tammy joined AXA XL in 2021. In this role, Tammy counsels insureds in data breach response, crisis management, and business interruption loss, in the defense of complex E&O technology and media claims, and in response to regulatory inquiries and investigations. Prior to joining AXA XL, Tammy worked as coverage and litigation counsel for international and domestic insurers for 10 years, with vast experience in complex data privacy, cyber liability, regulatory, and E&O technology issues. Following law school, Tammy clerked at the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division, and then at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Tammy graduated magna cum laude from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Political Science and History, and she received her Juris Doctor from UC Davis. Tammy is admitted to the California, New York, and Oregon State Bars.
