Kristen S. Swift is co-managing partner of Weber Gallagher's Delaware office. She routinely defends property casualty claims for restaurants, big box retailers, grocery chains, property owners, and mid-small businesses, mitigating clients’ exposures for these alleged losses.

Before joining Weber Gallagher, Kristen was an in-house litigator for a Fortune 100 insurance company. In 2013-2014, she was Wolcott Fellow to former Justice Jack B. Jacobs of the Delaware Supreme Court. While in law school, Kristen also interned for Chief Judge Leonard P. Stark in the U.S District Court, District of Delaware, and for the Honorable Mary F. Walrath in the U.S Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware. Kristen was the first Web Content Editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and graduated magna cum laude.

Kristen is the Past Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association's Litigation Section and previously chaired the Association’s Torts & Insurance Section. In 2022, she began serving on the editorial board for the Delaware State Bar Journal, where she launched the Creating Space in the LAW: Leadership, Advocacy, & Women Column to offer content aimed at preventing women lawyers from leaving the practice of law.

Also in 2022, Kristen began serving on Law360’s Delaware Editorial Advisory Board.

Since 2018, Kristen has been named to Delaware Today’s “Top Lawyers” list. Since 2019, Kristen has been recognized by the publisher of the Delaware edition of Super Lawyers magazine as a "Rising Star," an honor given to the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Delaware. She was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers in America among "Ones to Watch."
