Bond has a strong background in leading operational improvements and brings over 25 years of claims
management experience with organizations like Canal Insurance, Nationwide and
Travelers.
He has a multiline claims background and has worked from the individual contributor level through senior management levels. Prior to joining Lloyds, Carey served as Claims Team Leader at Canal Insurance, Regional Director for Nationwide Insurance and 2VP of claims at Travelers.
Carey retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel where he served in various positions and locations. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as a senior military advisor in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.
