Lance brings over 30 years of experience to his role as Director of Commercial Liability Claims at Arbella Insurance Group, Inc. Arbella is a leading regional property and casualty insurer serving Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Arbella has been recognized as a Boston Business Journal Top Place to Work for 17 consecutive years. Lance leads Commercial Claims operations for over 50 employees and directs the strategic oversight of multiple lines of business including Commercial Auto, General Liability and Workers' Compensation with a focus on severity and litigation management.

In addition to the day-to-day leadership activities, Lance collaborates with other lines of business to ensure strategic objectives are met, including participation in cross-departmental work efforts such as customer engagement efforts, claim systems enhancements, Underwriting product development as well as Actuarial and Legal initiatives.

Lance is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with a BA in History. Lance has led several corporate initiatives and supports many community service initiatives including the United Way Fundraising Co-chair, Junior Achievement mentor and Cradles to Crayons.
