Carla Pittman is the Director of Auto Liability, Physical Damage, and Total Loss claims at PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company Seattle, Washington. As a Senior Leader, she sets strategy and manages the day-to-day service experience in the line of business. In addition to the day-to-day leadership activities, she collaborates with other lines of business to ensure strategic objectives are met and aligned with organizational mission and vision. This includes participation in cross departmental work efforts including customer engagement efforts, product enhancements, and underwriting objectives.
Carla has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Washington State University. She holds several industry designations: Associate in Claims (AIC), Fraud Claim Law Specialist (FCLA), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Carla also holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University and a certificate in digital transformation from University of California Berkeley.
Carla is active in the local Pacific Northwest Chapter of CPCU, currently the president of the alumnae group for Alpha Chi Omega and is a past president of the Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board for the Carson School of Business at Washington State University.
