Ellen is now retired, but remains active in the insurance community. During her career Ellen spent nearly 18 years as a Principal Analyst covering P&C, L&A, and workplace insurance for Forrester Research as more than 35 years in technology and consulting. During her Forrester tenure, she published research that encompassed insurance technical marketing, digital business strategy, insurance core modernization, distribution, and insurtechs. Ellen’s research the business and technology decisions that insurance firms are investing in, including digital customer and agent/broker lifecycle experience; the claim and beneficiary/survivor experience, core platform modernization; and the integration of emerging technologies with legacy systems to drive better digital experiences and improved operational efficiency.

Ellen continues to enjoy meeting up with her insurance friends as well as weighing in on a very dynamic insurance landscape. In addition to her work experience, Ellen is an active volunteer in the City of Newburyport, Massachusetts recycling, energy, sustainability programs.
