Jazmin’s current role focuses on internal mobility, professional development, mentoring, data literacy, skill building and high-potential initiatives. Jazmin is passionate about empowering and inspiring people to develop themselves and navigate their careers to align with their values and strengths. She is an advocate for career growth, and challenging others to lean into opportunities to gain further education, exposure and experience. Jazmin practices what she preaches – with over a decade of experience in personal lines insurance, she navigated her career from Operations to Talent Management. She has close to three years of talent management experience, where she became a thought partner with the HR Team, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Learning and Enterprise Divisional Leaders. Jazmin loves collaborating with colleagues, leading and supporting a variety of projects, and centering our employees to further our business. She is known for her empathy, patience, positive energy, prioritization, execution, adaptability, and honesty.

Jazmin is currently attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a Doctoral Candidate in Public Policy. As part of her doctoral studies, She has three years of Data Analytics and Data Literacy research. Jazmin partnered with CSAA IG’s VP of Data Science to help with the company’s data strategy goals. She developed a data literacy pilot program to help non-technical employees build their data literacy skills. Jazmin values empowering others outside of STEM degrees to gain interest in Data and utilize data to make business decisions. She wants peers to become future-ready and marketable for the ever-changing workforce and technology. Jazmin recognizes the work of data scientists is meaningful. She views data and data scientists as our new Nikola Tesla. When you combine both, they create a light of knowledge, and knowledge is the electricity that keeps the lights running in our company while helping us solve real-life world problems. 

Jazmin has earned her B.A. in Journalism and Media and M.A. in Communications Studies and Rhetoric at UNLV. Go Rebels! Jazmin is passionate about traveling to other countries to learn about their culture and embrace their food. She has a 15-year-old Porkie (half Pomeranian, half Yorkie) named, Elvira. Jazmin can’t start her day without being active. You can catch her taking bootcamp classes, weight-lifting and running. And, just like The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), her motto in life is to FOCUS.
