Kate is a member of MGC in the Atlanta office. She has spent her entire career defending and counseling individuals and insurance companies accused of not doing their jobs right. Her cases usually involve allegations of professional liability, bad faith, or sexual misconduct. The discovery is complex and always involves electronically stored information of some kind.

She regularly tries cases to juries, benches, and arbitrators and handles her own appeals. Kate is AV preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America© and Super Lawyers and was named among America’s Top Lawyers by The American Law Society. Kate serves in leadership roles with several national organizations, including DRI and CLM, and frequently participates in continuing education programs. Outside of her law practice, Kate volunteers with non-profit organizations focused on the elderly and spends time with lawyer-husband, her three non-lawyer adult children, and her two dogs.
