Catherine Alman MacDonagh, JD is the CEO and Founder of the Legal Lean Sigma Institute and a recognized legal industry innovator focused on helping people work better together. With nearly 30 years of experience, she partners with legal and business professionals to improve workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and lead effective, sustainable change.
Catherine blends practical tools from process improvement, project management, change management, design thinking, and organizational development to strengthen efficiency, communication, and client service as a specialist in legal process improvement & operational excellence. She founded Legal Lean Sigma Institute (LLSI), created the methodology Legal Lean Sigma®, and developed collaborative methods: Legal Lean Design and also the Legal WorkOut® — all aimed at improving how work is structured and executed in a human centered manner.
