David M. Borum is an Assistant Vice President within the Global Special Investigations Unit/Enterprise Risk Management of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. He has over 20 years of public and private sector experience conducting investigations into various white-collar crimes including money laundering, insurance fraud, healthcare fraud and other organized financial crimes.

David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from University of Tennessee and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. He is currently pursuing his law degree from Loyola Chicago School of Law. He has completed various Executive Training programs at The University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business. He holds designations as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and a Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA). David currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Special Investigation Units.
